Medallion appoints Patrick Wong to Advisory Board
Vancouver, BC — Medallion Resources Ltd (TSX-V: MDL; OTCQX: MLLOF — “Medallion” or the “Company”) a rare-earth-element (REE) explorer, announces that it has appointed Patrick Wong to its Advisory Board. Mr. Wong is a recognized authority in the REE industry, having founded a strategic metals investment company, authored several research articles and participated on industry panels and as a guest speaker at industry events.
Mr. Wong is President of Rare Metals Inc., a private company which consults to industry investors and participants. Rare Metals is also investigating how to accelerate near-term rare-earth production by facilitating REE customer investment that would create centralized rare-earth refining in North America. Mr. Wong is a senior editor and analyst for RareMetalBlog.com, an open forum site that discusses the current news and trends of the rare-metals sector.

Patrick is a seasoned hedge fund manager, with over 15 years of experience in various trading strategies, including capital structure arbitrage. Prior to Dacha, he was the president of a natural gas trading company that created models to trade physical gas. Mr. Wong has an Honours BA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
